One thing has led to another, and I am starting a new mural opportunity! This mural is outside of Ren's Bistro, a local spot where I've been going since I moved to the area. I'm excited at the idea of creating an artwork that will reinvigorate the space and draw attention to a restaurant that absolutely deserves it! This mural is officially the largest scale painting I've ever done! (It feels like I keep saying that - but it continues to be true, lol).

Working on my largest piece yet - a mural! I stumbled across a lovely hidden gem in downtown Fort Myers called "Absolute Fragrance". I feel blessed and fortunate that the owner has given me the opportunity to create a large-scale painting for his space! From creating the graphic and sketching the stencil to placing paint on the wall, this monumental moment is a segue into a whole new chapter. Stay posted to see what comes of this new venture!

This month I had the honor of painting the portrait of a very important member of our local Police Department. Balor was named "Officer K9 of the Year" at the 2026 Rotary Club of Fort Myers South Law and Order Ball. Grateful for the opportunity and to our officers who work hard and sacrifice to keep our lovely community safe. This painting is called, "Act of Balor".

Lately I'm focusing on my transition towards painting wildlife subjects, and animals.. and basically anything that excites me about expanding my horizons! Keep an eye out for new works in progress by following me on Instagram and Facebook.

With the completion of very new artwork, whether it is a commission or passion project, comes a new lens. While I am not surprised to find that I adore painting animals, I am surprised that I am only now beginning this part of my journey. Abstract and botanical paintings are where my roots with painting began, nearly ten years ago. To see how far I've come, and the ceilings I continue to break through only inspires me to keep pushing my boundaries further.

2025 entailed the experimentation with a variety of subjects and styles I didn't anticipate! From portraits and pet portraits to wildlife and a new approach to abstract art - I'll be honest I'm a little all over the board... lol.
